Embracing Embodied Expression: Awakening Your Voice and Soul

I wanted to share with you about the topic of being ’embodied’ in our expression.

Why is this important?

Whether it’s singing, public speaking, engaging in heartfelt conversations with loved ones, or leading corporate meetings…

The beauty of ’embodied’ expression lies in our ability to speak from our hearts and souls, rather than from our “heads.”

By embracing this approach, we let go of “being in our heads” –

and that mental chatter of judgment, self-consciousness, anxiety, and the pressure to “get it right.”

Instead, we enter a state of flow, trust, and surrender.

We become open channels through which creativity can freely flow.

This creates freedom and spontaneity in expressing ourselves authentically!

Imagine being on stage and being spontaneous, for example! It’s exciting for both you and the listeners!

And we can genuinely listen and tune in to others, creating connection.
(What does that create in the world?!)

Many of my voice students have expressed their desire to feel freedom when they sing or speak.

Have you had the space held for you to explore vocal practices for being embodied?

I’d love to hear what makes you feel most alive, free, and “tuned in” to who you really are!

Whatever that is, do more of that 🙂
