Soprano Singer
Rush Dorsett is a classically trained soprano singer, having completed her Master’s degree in performance and Vocal Pedagogy at New England Conservatory (NEC) in Boston. Rush specializes in opera, oratorio, chamber music, and new music. She has a passion for collaborating with living composers on bringing new works to life. Rush held several lead opera roles and is known for her expressive musicianship, warm and silvery vocal tone, dynamic collaboration skills, and naturalness on stage. As Founder of EmbodiedVoice®, Rush weaves embodiment practices with systematic vocal technique (SVT) in her teaching to create a holistic approach to awakening the voice for authentic, free, and powerful singing, speaking, and creative expression.
