If you’ve ever felt fear around using your voice — in speaking, singing, or simply being seen — you are not alone.

I’ve been through this myself.

I used to hide my voice.

I wanted to sing — but I would be so terrified that someone would hear me that I would try to lock all the doors when I practiced.

Later, when I began sharing videos or speaking in public, I would feel so much anxiety around being seen that it would literally wake me up at night!!!

(Sound familiar?)

Fortunately, I was able to learn embodiment tools that helped me establish safety within…

So that when I opened my mouth to sing or speak, I was no longer gripped by anxiety.

With practice, I’ve been able to transmute the performance anxiety into excitement to share my voice.

And now – sharing, speaking, singing, writing (all related to throat chakra).

These activities no longer cause anxiety.

Rather, they are now a source of joy and creative flow!

And this, I believe is our natural state of being.

Our voices are meant to heal us.
They are therapeutic to us.

(Our ancestors knew this when they gathered together to sing!)

Performance anxiety comes from the conditioning we’ve received around our voices.

And so, our practice is to decondition our voices –

to come into greater authenticity and freedom in self-expression.

This is what we do in EmbodiedVoice® practices!

We combine:
🎤 Systematic vocal technique
🎤 Chakra alignment
🎤 Nervous system attunement
🎤 Somatic embodiment practices

I’ve seen hundreds of my voice students go from terrified of being heard,

to now enjoying recording, sharing, and being seen!

If your voice feels stuck or small — I want you to know, it doesn’t have to stay this way.

You are meant to express. You are meant to be heard. And the world is ready for your voice.

Here’s a short video where I share how I went from hiding to fully expressing my voice — and how you can too: 👉🏼 Watch it here
